Spanakopita

 Preheat oven to 325 Farenheight.

Sautee spinach and dry out completely in a tea towel- you need to squeeze out all moisture.

Chop onion and sauté until translucent.

Make filling by mixing all ingredients into a bowel and set aside.

 Melt 2 sticks of butter.

Layer half of your phyllo dough (buttering each layer) on the bottom of a 9 1/2″ X 13″ baking dish.

 Add in your filling.

Layer the second half of phyllo dough on top.

Cut spanakopita into desired shape (DO THIS BEFORE BAKING).

Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown.

Serve warm or room temp; this also freezes well if you want to make it later.
